•    All parents/carers/guardians aged 18 years or older accept full responsibility for the supervision of their children whilst at Happy Days Play Centre. Our staff are present to ensure you and your child/children have an enjoyable experience during a play session, however, they are not responsible for the supervision and behaviour of the children.

Anyone displaying such behaviour will be asked to leave. No refund will be given. Children or adults causing wilful damage to the equipment or the fixtures or fittings at the play centre, will be liable to pay for any damage caused.
•    Children and adults who are unwell, or who have been unwell, must not visit Happy Days Play Centre for 48 hours after symptoms come to an end; this is to prevent the spread of infection. If your child is not feeling well during their visit, please take them out of the play area.
•    Adults are not allowed in the kids play area (3-12) unless accompanied by a staff member.
•    Outside food and drink cannot be consumed on the premises unless by prior arrangement with management due to allergen risks. Exception examples would be School Tours or Private full venue bookings where there is a self-catering option.
•    Food and drink are not allowed within the play areas and should always be consumed at the tables in the café area.
•    Smoking is not permitted on the site, including the use of e-cigarettes and vapes.
•    Pets or animals are not allowed on the premises except for assistance animals.

•    Please only photograph children in your group. Happy Days Play Centre cannot be held responsible for any images posted on social media or public websites by others.

What to wear
•    It is best to cover up as much as possible to avoid friction burns. Long sleeves and trousers are recommended. Avoid clothes with toggles, cords and belts, ribbons or anything that dangles as these can get caught in the play equipment. For hygiene reasons, and to protect little toes, socks must be worn at all times.

When you get here
•    Get your kids to hand over anything that can hurt them or get broken like phone, glasses, jewellery, toys, badges, ribbons, etc. Encourage them to use the toilet and wash their hands. Put their shoes in the shoe pockets provided. Sanitise their hands. Children under 3 must be supervised in the toddler area and are not allowed in the Kid’s area.

To play safe remind your children to
•    Move away from the bottom of the slides to avoid them getting hurt and no to climb up the slides or netted walls. Don’t throw things, play fight or real fight. Be kind and most importantly have fun!

When to involve our staff
•    If there is a food or drink spillage, please pick up what you can and tell a member of staff so that they can help.
•    If there has been a toilet-related accident in the play area, please tell a member of staff so that we can keep the area as sanitised as possible.
•    If there are any other accidents, we have first aid training on hand to help, please let us know and we will assist.
•    If you have any concerns about inappropriate behaviour, tell us.

Health and Safety
•    Report any, and all, accidents to a member of staff, as this is a legal requirement for all private play centres.
•    Report any property damage to a member of staff, as damaged equipment can hurt children.
•    Happy Days Play Centre reserves the right to close all, or part of the venue should there be a risk to the safety and security of visitors and staff. In these instances, your session will be transferred to another date and time, at your convenience.
